The Fuel Scan-450 has a variety of operational modes: MILES PER GALLON/Ltr - When both the REQ and RES que lights are lit, the display is in Nautical Miles per Gallon ENDURANCE
- Calculating the present power setting & fuel on board, you will
have a reading of the aircraft's range available in hours and minutes. REQUIRED
TO DESTINATION - This is the amount of fuel required to reach your next
waypoint base on your present power settings. The required fuel will
automatically be recalculated and displayed when you change power. RESERVE - This displays the quantity of fuel you should have when you reach your next GPS waypoint. REMAINING - This shows you the remaining fuel on board at the present time.
