The MicroAir 760 will fit any 2.25 inch (57mm) instrument hole, and weighs only 550g. It needs only 4 screws, and can be fitted quickly and easily. It draws only 120mA on receive, ensuring long operating life when operating from battery power.
The M760 has easy to operate functionality. The toggle mode has the top line frequency as the in use channel, the lower frequency is the standby channel. The pilot can toggle between these two with the push of a button. Moving to memory mode, the pilot can select one of up to 20 memory channels.
Fitted to the panel of the M760 is an LED to indicate the radio’s receive or transit status. The LED will light green when it receives a signal, and red when you transmit. The LED will flash red if your mic is jammed.
The scan function operates across the 'in use' frequency and all memory channels. This is very useful when operating on a control area frequency.
The M760 incorporates a sidetone intercom. The intercom can be remotely switched or set up as a hot key system for hands-free operation.
The Microair 760 can be set up with remote switches on the control column for memory scroll, display backlight on/off, and scan on/off. All wiring options are clearly set out in Microair’s installation instructions.
Additional wiring loom can be purchased to make instaltion easier.
